Scott White
Scott White
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. White was previously Executive Vice President of HealthLease Properties, a publicly traded REIT focused on health care real estate. He also previously served as a Senior Vice President of Brookfield Asset Management Inc., where he was responsible for raising capital for various alternative asset vehicles across real estate, private equity and infrastructure.

His career experience includes a tenure as Director and Head of Deal Management at Citigroup’s Alternatives Distribution Group. While at Citigroup, Mr. White advised clients on alternative capital raising activities in private equity, real estate, hedge and infrastructure funds. He was responsible for executing 25 capital-raising assignments at over $30 billion.

Earlier in his career, Mr. White was part of the Health Care Group at Citi’s Investment Bank, working with clients in the health care sector on M&A and capital raising assignments. He began his career in public accounting as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. White earned a Bachelor’s Degree with highest honors in Political Science and Journalism from Rutgers University. He received his Master’s of Business Administration from Rutgers Graduate School of Management and his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Mr. White is a member of the Board of Directors of Rutgers University Foundation and a member of the Board of the NJ Chapter of Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Michael Faber

Lead Independent Director

Mr. Faber is a corporate executive, family office advisor, and attorney with more than 20 years of experience investing in, operating and advising both large multi-national and emerging growth companies in a variety of industries.

Since 1996, Mr. Faber has served as chief executive officer of NextPoint Management Company, Inc., an investment and strategic advisory firm, working with family offices on issues such as asset manager selection and oversight, direct investing, venture philanthropy and trust and estates. Additionally, Mr. Faber currently serves as a senior advisor to a family office with more than $4 billion in assets. Mr. Faber currently serves as a director of CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (NYSE: CVU) and as a director or senior advisor to numerous private companies and asset management firms.

Mr. Faber is an honors graduate and John M. Olin Fellow of the University of Chicago Law School and attended the Johns Hopkins University School of International Studies and the State University of New York. Mr. Faber brings to our board of directors his legal, operations and financial expertise.

Mr. Benbow is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prolific. With over 40 years of revenue, media and marketing experience and a nationally recognized growth strategist, Mr. Benbow regularly advises some of the fastest-growing organizations in the United States. Mr. Benbow also co-founded Prolific portfolio companies, JDA Worldwide and Conquer.

Mr. Benbow graduated from Wabash College where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. Mr. Benbow started his career with Ackerman & McQueen in Dallas, Texas, and went on to co-found Rutter Communications Network, the leading cable advertising rep firm in the U.S., before selling the firm to Comcast in 2009. He currently serves on the board of directors for both Answers in Genesis and Biglife.

Mr. Chester’s career spans more than 18 years, with experience in finance, real estate, investments, development, and capital markets. Over the course of Mr. Chester’s career, he has initiated billions in successful capital raises, lead numerous tactical acquisitions and created billions of dollars in value through strategic divestitures.

Mr. Chester has established himself as a leader in the health care industry and has meaningful partnerships and relationships with operators and developers throughout the senior care industry. Prior to his position as Chief Investment Officer of Invesque, Mr. Chester was critical to the successful launch and IPO of HealthLease Properties. In the role of Chief Financial Officer, he grew HealthLease Properties from a $250 million company to nearly $1 billion. In 2014, he orchestrated the multi-billion dollar sale and development capital deal with Welltower (NYSE:WELL). Mr. Chester’s success helped earn the coveted title of CFO of the Year by Indianapolis Business Journal in 2014, and a spot on the 2015 Forty Under 40 list by Indianapolis Business Journal.

Shaun Hawkins

Mr. Hawkins is the founder of the ProSyte Companies, a diversified holding entity investing in businesses and real estate in the United States Midwest, as well as communications and infrastructure entities in West Africa.

From 2012 until his departure in 2015, Mr. Hawkins was Vice President of New Ventures and Private Equity Investing at Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY). In this capacity, Mr. Hawkins was responsible for Eli Lilly’s venture capital, private equity and venture formation activities, managing over $1.4 billion. Mr. Hawkins joined Eli Lilly in 2001 and held various roles in sales and corporate business development at the company. In 2010, Mr. Hawkins was promoted to Chief Diversity Officer to lead the development and implementation of Eli Lilly’s global diversity and inclusion strategy.

Mr. Hawkins graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1995, and earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2000.

Mr. Maultsby is President of Tiptree Inc. (NASDAQ: TIPT), where he focuses on corporate strategy and development. He is responsible for overseeing all of the firm’s acquisition, disposition and capital markets activities.

Mr. Maultsby also represents Tiptree, sitting on the boards of Fortegra Financial and Reliance First Capital.

Prior to joining Tiptree Inc. in 2010, Mr. Maultsby was a Senior Vice President in the investment banking division of Fox-Pitt, Kelton (“FPK”). During his investment banking career, he focused on providing strategic advice to a broad array of banks, finance, asset management and brokerage clients. Prior joining FPK, Mr. Maultsby was an Associate in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at JP Morgan and an Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Citigroup.

Mr. Maultsby received his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors, from Hampton University.

Ms. Steinel is a veteran of the industry with over 30 years of experience in global consulting. Currently, she provides consulting services and leadership development to executives at various organizations.

Ms. Steinel is a member of the board of trustees of Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT), a member of the board of directors until February 2020 of MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: MTSC) and a member of the board of DAI. She currently serves on the audit committees for each of the boards and is the chairperson of the Federal Realty Investment Trust Audit Committee. She is also the chairperson of the Compensation Committee for DAI and was the chairperson of the Nomination & Governance Committee for MTS.

Ms. Steinel spent over 20 years at Arthur Andersen and was the Global Managing Partner of the Business Consulting Group, one of the fastest-growing consultancies in the world, with $2.5 billion revenue, 10,000 employees, and operations in 85 countries when the business was sold to BearingPoint in 2002. She retired from BearingPoint in February 2007 after five years as EVP of Global Commercial Services.

Ms. Steinel has twice been recognized as one of Consulting Magazine’s Top 25 Consultants and has attended Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business Summit. Ms. Steinel graduated as an accounting major from Rutgers University in 1979 and is a certified public accountant.
